As the world digests the news of Mike Tyson’s return to the ring against four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr. in September, we learn of another high-profile bout.
Nate Robinson, the NBA’s only three-time Slam Dunk Champion, will take on YouTube sensation Jake Paul as an undercard fight on September 12 in California.
“I wanted to show that I’m a world class athlete, I played college football, played in the NBA for 11 years, and I’m excited for this venture into the sport of Boxing. Jake Paul, I want all the smoke,” said Robinson
Not so fast; Paul insists that despite Robinson’s athletic prowess, he’ll emerge victorious when all is said and done. “I am excited to partner with Triller and get in the ring to fight an elite athlete. But make no mistake, on September 12th, Nate will meet the canvas early,” says Paul. Paul knocked out fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in just 2 minutes and 18 seconds back in January.
It will be really interesting to see who else will appear on the undercard and we will definitely be watching.Tags: Headline, Jake Paul, Nate Robinson, NBA
